Ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh passed away at 8 am today morning at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. He was 70. (BCCL/Chethan Shivakumar)

Jagjit Singh was admitted to Lilavati Hospital on September 23, 2011, after he suffered brain haemorrhage, and a life-saving surgery was performed on him. (BCCL/Pushpesh Dhingra)
